Guarantee Terms and Conditions

LINEA ITALIA® compromises itself to deliver those products selected by the costumer, in good conditions and in the address indicated in the order-request sheet. Such sheet will help as source of information in further references regarding such process. Shall this not be the case, such company will cover the expenses derived from the guarantee, fulfilling the terms stated in here.

Likewise, the costumer hereby states that he will not receive any shipment with products that can be identified as damaged by the shipment process by simply looking at them. In such case, it’d be indispensable that the costumer reject the product (s) that are in that condition and receives only those in good conditions. The costumer will immediately notify LINEA ITALIA® for its immediate recovery.

In case a costumer received damaged products by mistake, LINEA ITALIA® will replace this furniture free of charge for the costumer. But, it’d be the costumer’s responsibility to send them back to the service center as well as to pay for the shipment.

If some of the products turned out to feature a manufacturing damage when unpacking the furniture, the costumer will be able to request via fax or email, the product or warranty replacement. There will be a 10-day period to fill-out via any of the previously mentioned ways, a warranty request sheet. Such cases will be directly seen by a specialized agent of warranties, who will follow-up the case. It is important to point out that only in this case will LINEA ITALIA® pay for the expenses derived from the replacement of these items.

Besides the previously mentioned cases, the warranty will be effective according to the written Policy of Guarantee included in each one of the products.

When placing an order on LINEA ITALIA®, the costumer thereby states that he/she knows and agrees with the terms and conditions of the guarantee.

Policy of Guarantee

Creaciones Industriales, S.A. de C.V. guarantees its products under normal assembly and use conditions for 5 years (one year in slides, ball bearing slides, plastic and locks) as of the purchase date. The guarantee is for defective materials and manufacturing damage.

If your furniture features any manufacturing damage, you should request the guarantee in the place where you purchased the merchandise. For that, you should take the damaged furniture with you together with the invoice paper. You can also request your guarantee through internet, in the guarantees section of the web page.

The dealer should rely on the Guarantee Department of Creaciones Industriales, S.A. de C.V., considering the replying time which is a 30 day period as of the moment in which the guarantee request is received by the Guarantee Department.

The guarantee will not be effective in the following cases:
1. When the furniture was used under different conditions from the normal ones.
2. When the furniture wasn’t assembled according to the manual.
3. When the product is modified or fixed by personnel not authorized by Creaciones Industriales, S.A. de C.V.
4. Special cases of shipment*
5. When damage is caused by a sinister, special natural causes or any other reason in which the Company has no responsibility.
6. When the costumer has no proof of purchase (invoice paper).

* Important: We currently count on a merchandise insurance service which covers a 20-day period after the delivery of the merchandise for its shipment at the shipping company. Therefore, we kindly urge you to review and check your merchandise.
